Materials List (for 6 bumpers)
- 1 ¾ yards decorator fabric for the top section *
- 3 ¼ yards decorator fabric for the bottom section *
- 23-inch-square of coordinating fabric for cording **
- 9 ¾ yards of filler corder ** ( 5/32” diameter)
- Thread to match decorator fabric
- Point turner
- Bumper pad forms such as Poly-fil® Nu-Foam (by Fairfield)
- Water erasable fabric marker
*if you are using a fabric that has a definite design that you want to highlight, more fabric may be needed to accomplish this. Review the pattern layout suggestion and take your pattern with you to the fabric store to make sure you purchase enough fabric.
** if you use pre-made cording you do not need the fabric or the filler cord. Instead, you need 9 ¾ yards of cording. Make sure the cording has an attached seam allowance.
Crib Sheet
- 1 7/8 yards of 44”-45” fabric
- 4 14 yards of ¼”-wide elastic
Suitable fabrics include quilting-weight cotton, light-weight decorator fabric and other light to medium-weight woven fabrics. Do not use stretchy fabrics such as t-shirt knits.
